Digging the pond and hard structure placement
Spent the week digging the pond and pump house.
I started by marking out the shape and placement of the pond. I then worked on CADD to design the 3D version of what the ground work, pumping and plumbing would look like. The dig time took about a week and then getting the plumbing dialed in with the pumps took another week. Next was water… it took about 3 days to fill the pond (while monitoring it). Three weeks later the water had settled out, warmed up and was ready for the first grouping of fish to return home from my good buddy Dave’s house.
Dave had graciously watched our fish while we moved and built our home. They couldn’t have been in better hands.
