OUCH!

Hey folks!

It has been a long time since I posted an update and I am seriously sorry about the delay. Several weeks ago I was playing indoor soccer and ruptured my achillies. I have had surgery and am on the mend. Things bonsai-related had to take a backseat given the seriousness of my injury.

Luckily, my wife, family, and friends are VERY supportive!

After 6 weeks of non-weight-bearing activities, I have been placed in a walking boot for the next bit of time. Although this is still uncomfortable, it sure beats the crutches and knee scooter!

Man do I ever love my wife and family! They have been rock stars.

Now I can get back to some normal things around the property. I can get back to regular watering, cleanup, fertilizing and mowing etc. etc. etc… Please notice the canvas wrapping around the boot so I can mow and string trim the lawn.
